This asparagus knife feels really balanced and good in my hand. I like the serrated edge. It is a useful tool for harvesting asparagus spears. Nice quality.

It's now in the off season for gardening and didn't have a chance to use it yet, but this knife is very well built and high quality. I have other Burgon and Ball tools and they are second to none. I think this asparagus knife will also serve well as a harvesting knife for cabbage, squash, and many other vegatables.

I've found so many uses for this odd shaped blade with one serrated and one honed edge - I use it for : a short sickle; a weeder for concrete cracks; small branch pruner; dibber.... it's odd form allows as many uses as you can imagine --- don't have the right tool to get into a small space ?? Try an asparagus knife !!!
