  1. Does the trick and the long handle is nice

This is a bit of overkill to cut asparagus but I like the option of stabbing or slicing with the serrated edge. Quality is excellent and it becomes a bit of an heirloom garden tool.

  2. Has a good 'feel' to it.

This asparagus knife feels really balanced and good in my hand. I like the serrated edge. It is a useful tool for harvesting asparagus spears. Nice quality.

  3. muti-purpose

It's now in the off season for gardening and didn't have a chance to use it yet, but this knife is very well built and high quality. I have other Burgon and Ball tools and they are second to none. I think this asparagus knife will also serve well as a harvesting knife for cabbage, squash, and many other vegatables.

  4. It's Not Just for Asparagus

I've found so many uses for this odd shaped blade with one serrated and one honed edge - I use it for : a short sickle; a weeder for concrete cracks; small branch pruner; dibber.... it's odd form allows as many uses as you can imagine --- don't have the right tool to get into a small space ?? Try an asparagus knife !!!
