I wanted some gardening tools that were better quality than what I could find in the local big-box stores. I'm so glad I found Garden Tool Company!
My purchase of the DeWit Cape Cod Weeder has very quickly become my number one tool! It's a lovely piece that is well made. I have no doubt I will be gardening and tending my flower beds for years and years with this tool.
The DeWit Cape Cod Weeder allows me to do away with bothersome weeds very quickly. I'm able to get right up to and underneath my plants and not worry about damage to the stems and roots. This is so much easier and faster than all that hand pulling!

I am ambidextrous but I bought the right hand model so my wife could use it, now I want a left handed model so I can weed with both hands. Does a quick jobs on weeds and helps to keep them down in my new shade garden. I really like high quality tools and will not use the cheap ones that bend when you exert some force.

The weeder is sturdy and well made, but I'm a little disappointed because I believe the blade should be positioned more at an angle to cut into the dirt and weeds. And, I also think it would make the tool more comfortable to hold on to. However, I will use it as it is the kind of tool I have been looking for for a long time .

Frequently repairing plastic sprinkler system pipes. CC Weeder the best for scraping out dirt from around pipe and bush/tree roots.
Gotta have one!

The Cape Cod Weeder is my favorite gardening implement. It was ordered to replace one that had been worn out. It's great for loosening soil, planting and of course weeding. The only disappointment is the handle does not feel comfortable in my hand. My former one had a more slender handle which was a great fit.

The Cape Cod Weeder has changed my attitude toward our pesky local weed. It makes cultivating and weeding so much easier than conventional tools. I'm glad I invested in it.

I bought two of these, one for my neighbor. It really is great tool.

I purchased this tool for my adult son as a Father's Day gift--because he keeps borrowing mine and it spends WAY too much time at his house. Now we are both happy! It is beautifully made and I only hope he uses it as much as I use mine. It makes weeding almost pleasant!

I always seem to have this tool in my hand. I use it for weeding, keeping my vinca in check, cultivating my raised bed, and even harvesting tender veggies like scallions. I have been using mine for a while now. This purchase was a gift for my husband for Father's Day. He is left-handed so it was great to get him one of his own.

I'm a master gardner and I love good tools. Having the opportunity to work (volunteer) in many gardner situations, I've found it completely necessary to have the best tools possible. I highly recommend this one!

The best hand weeder! Note to self: don't leave it lying around or you'll be buying another one...AGAIN! I can't live without this tool.

I've had one of these for years and it's by far my favorite weeding tool. I just bought a new one for myself and one for each of my daughter-in-laws. One was for a left handed person and she was thrilled with it.

I bought this only because it had so many excellent reviews. It is now my favorite weeding tool.

The steep angle of this weeder's head allows the blade to dive deep into the soil, loosening it, and freeing up the weed-roots. I was hoping it would do that, and it surely did. Excellent tool for small beds and areas !!

I had a weeder like this one for years and lost it. Maybe I threw it out with the weeds. I had looked everywhere for one like it and now I have it. It can get in cracks between stones and under the roots to loosen them. I love it.

I grew up hating weeding as a kid. If I had these then I'd probably be a more enthusiastic gardener today. The action is such that drawing the tool towards you just below the surface takes out the "business" end of the weeds and much of the roots very quickly. They'll take out most any size weeds from the large ones you've been ignoring to the tiny ones trying to get started. The left and right versions are more about getting the best angle to slice the weeds than about which hand you use the tool in, so I'd suggest getting both. The are so well made they should last forever making a pair a worthwhile investment.

Friend told me about this tool and I am so glad she did. It works wonders. I would not hesitate to purchase another one if needed.

I use my Cape Cod Weeder for so many different tasks. Most it is used for weeding and cultivating in my flower beds. It is great for getting that second crop of weeds that are so tiny. Another use is for digging shallow trenches when I have to redo the emitters on irrigation lines. And to follow the lines to the main line when a shovel is too dangerous. And it can be sharpened.
I have given it to many of my gardening friends as a gift.

I carry my little (don't let the size fool you into thinking that this is not an efficient and productive TOOL) Cape Cod Weeder in a holster on my belt. The particularly efficient part of this weeder which is different from most, besides its shortness, is the angle of the blade. It is amazingly easy to use and extremely efficient. It cuts at the precise depth you choose in contrast to other weeders which try to seek their own level of cut. I was also worried that it was too short--never fear about this. In fact, to my amazement, its length is one of its greatest efficiencies. We ordered 3. You will not regret it.

Have 8 raised beds of garden vegetables. This hand tool keeps all the weeds out. It's easy to weed closely to veggies and really loosens up the soil. Most amazingly it cuts all the little weeds from the soil and it's a piece of cake to use the little hand rake to gather the weeds. My gardens are compact, so I don't have a lot of room to maneuver. Love this tool.

The product was quality as advertised and the service was the best I have ever received on an internet order and I order frequently over the internet.

This is the most versatile tool. Have two of them - one for lefties and the other for my right-handed husband. We use them all summer long - from April's early weeds to final cleanup in the fall! It truly is the BEST weeder!! Makes quick work of getting the runner-grass out of the beds as well as along the sides of brick sidewalks. Also great for removing weeds from between the bricks. Works great for loosening the earth when planting. Give me this weeder and a rake and I am ready to tackle anything!! Customer service is A1 - tools came quickly and the company is dedicated to your satisfaction!! Thanks Garden Tool Co!!

This is a fantastic little tool. I use it to edge around my brick borders. I misplaced the first one I owned and could only find it at Garden Tools. It is well made and fun to use. I love it when a tool really does do the job!
