I like the comfortable feel of this dandelion spade ... I have trouble with my hands and this tool handles well, balances effectively and requires minimal strength to break and penetrate hardened soil.
Made well, attractive, fine quality.
Only thing missing is an "automatic" button!

I just received the dandelion spade by Sneeboer last week. In the past I usually used a shovel for dandelions and not only was it heavy, but sometimes disrupted more soil then I really wanted, however since I didn't want to be crawling around on the ground I continued with the shovel. This tool is great. I have bad knees and though I could get down on my knees to dig them out, there is no reason as this tool makes it effortless. It's narrow and long enough to "cup" the entire dandelion root which is what makes it work so well. Although it is very well made, it is not so heavy you couldn't carry it around the yard digging dandelions for longer then I have patience! There is an edge at the top that is used to step on to push it into the ground, but only on the right side. I would like to see it on both sides as sometimes it would make it easier to finagle a tight corner. Would I but it again? Yes. Would I recommend it to a friend, yes I would.

This tool is so good that it even gets out entire deep thistle roots that my other weeding tool can't reach.
