This tool is a real dandy for "stab and grab" weeding. I love the weight and feel-no chintz just guts and glory. Rather crude-certainly not to the likes of "Martha" but for us dirt- under- the -nails gardeners, absolutely perfect.

Great for weeding, loosening soil, and moving small plants. Like it very much.

Excelled for digging, breaking up soil and splitting large plants.

This thing is indestructible! Once you put an edge on this knife, it will stay sharp and need only an occasional touch-up. I opened 50 bags of mulch this weekend, sliced through weeds, roots, and more with ease. Nice heft and balance. I think I could take on a grizzly with this knife.
