I was digging some HARD ground using a tool that LOOKED very similar to this tool and it was doing a fair job. I had just received this tool and picked it up and was amazed how much more efficient this particular tool was for digging out the hard ground. If you need this type of tool, this is the one to purchase. Note that the handle is slim. I have average adult male hands and prefer a thicker handle than this but this really worked out good because I added a cushioned grip and am even more pleased with the tool.

I didn't know quite what to expect when I ordered this tool. I needed something of quality to dig blackberries, dandelions, and other various obnoxious weeds. I also needed something to break up some of the hard clay like dirt on the property. I get carried away and almost abuse it because it works so well! Turning the head sideways is a very effective way to break up dirt clods. One thing to be careful of is striking rocks. The prongs will bend if you get too aggressive!
Overall, a very handy, tough, and versatile tool. I have given it a very hard workout and so far it has been up to the tasks. I also love the way it feels in my hand, light weight and well balanced. It is powerful and makes weeding fast and pleasurable. Many thumbs up!!!

I purchased this tool as a back-up to the Korean weeder/cultivator because my soil out here is like concrete. This tool has the muscle to tackle overgrown, neglected plots and clear them of weeds promptly in the toughest, rocky soil. Most recently I used it to uncover a couple of blueberry bush seedlings that the weeds had covered. It even comes with a wedge in the handle to tighten the head if that comes loose. This tool is built to take hard work and last a lifetime.

This is a must have tool! Well constructed. Will last a life time. Only draw back, after an hour or so a bit heavy

This is one of the best gardening tools I have ever used. It cuts through the toughest clay and hard pan soil. Wish I had this years ago!

This tool has mulitple uses. It can be used to dig, uproot unwanted weeds and other plants, and the tines are excellent for aerating the soil and preparing seed beds. I have found it to be one of the most useable tools I've ever owned.

If you only can have one tool, get this one. Has nice weight for digging in hard packed soil.

Very well made balanced and easy to use. I have been using these hoes to plant with for years my old one was over 30 year old and thought maybe it was time for a new one.

Buying online is not always the best way as one is never sure of quality from an untried company. I was extremely pleased with the quality of tools from this company as well as the speedy and polite service. I recommend their products and will buy from them in the future. They have variety and good prices. Can't go wrong here.
