The Japanese pick mattock is right at home doing the grunt work. With a pick on one side and a hoe on the other, this pick mattock makes for quick work even in hard packed or clay soils.
This Japanese pick mattock has a one piece solid forged Japanese steel head and an Oak hardwood handle for years of use in the garden.

Indispensable tool for clay and rocky soil

My garden is hard packed clay and rock. With a bad neck digging is near impossible but using this I am able to easily work the soil without irritating my neck. It can also be sharpened. It is a lifetime tool. So why am I shopping? This is a gift for another gardening fiend.
