  1. Great Perennial Spade

    Wow- I really like this spade. I've been using for about a week- spring planting (perennials, transplanting, some annual beds)- and have been very impressed. I bought this needing a smaller spade, and the width (6 inches if memory serves correctly) is very useful, especially for quart and gallon containers. Some of the areas that I will be using this haven't been dug into for awhile- so I also was attracted to the boot/shoe protectors on the top of the spade (in contrast, for example, to the DeWitt perennial spade which did not have that).

    And this spade is solid- with a nice sharp edge.

    In all, very pleased with the quality of this spade- will be using for many years to come.
