It's a unique tool

It's a unique tool. By far the best long handled tool
I've found for breaking up/cultivating hard ground. A normal short handled, light 2 lb pick/mattock, works as well or better but its nice to not have to bend over.

I have been looking at this hoe for a long time but was hesitant because of the price. I have bought 2 others over the years that were much cheaper but bend. I finally bit the bullet and spent the money. It is so worth it!! I told my son in law I would will it to him. It's that good! It will last. So glad I bought it. Wish I had sooner.

This hoe along with the Sneeboar Dutch hoe that I purchased enabled me to transform a garden plot of weeds back into a garden. They are exactly what I hoped to find, even more so. It took some expansion of my mind to consider spending more for quality tools, so I give thanks that I opened up and realized why it's worth it.

My wife gardens flowers in a space far too large for a 62 year old. She used a short handled tool similar in design to the Sneeboer, but too much stooping and bending was required. It was to the point she could use some help. The long hardwood handle, forged and sharpened hoe and tines, and excellent construction should keep me on the golf course and out of the garden. One of the best purchases I've made.
