No safety latch on these

While I understand that some people may like the old-fashioned quality of this item, I think you should make it clear to customers that these shears do not have the usual safety lock features and spring into the open position pictured above when not in use. I also find that unless you practice your technique it is easy to pinch your fingers in the shears. Overall they are a little unsafe by modern standards and I would not have ordered them had I known this.
