Product Description
The Nejiri Gama hand hoe is a small yet strong and extremely sharp hand hoe that excels as a hand weeder. By skimming the blade across the surface, The Nejiri Gama hoe easily disposes of shallow rooted weeds. This will soon be one of your favorites.
The blade and stem are hardened Japanese steel and fitted with a hardwood handle.

I can't garden without it.

I have 3 major tools for my raised squarefoot garden beds. Tops on the list is this wonderful hand hoe, second is my hand trowel, and third is a 5 gallon bucket that I use for hauling nearly everything.
When my old hand hoe got ruined from being lost for 2 years outside I ordered not one new hand hoe but two. I so love this hand hoe that I don't ever want to be without one to use. It goes in my carry bucket along with my gardening gloves, clippers, timer (or I forget to go in), water bottle and hot drink go-cup.
The handle fits the hand so well that even with my arthritis I have no problem using the hand hoe for several hours at a time. I am starting several new growing beds in an area where there was nothing but invasive grass and blackberries and the hand hoe not only cuts the stems off but works well to dig out the roots as well. I can't garden without it.

This hand hoe is lightweight yet well-constructed and sturdy. It's sharp blade is easy to re-sharpen, and it's designed to make close quarters weeding easy. Most importantly, this tool is well balanced and thus makes its use a nice extension of our hands and arms... the perfect tool for those of us who enjoy spending time in our garden on our hands & knees.

Weeds with speed and control

I had a "triangle blade" (as I call it) hoe before, but without the red on the handle, so it was creamed by a lawnmower when I left it in the lawn. It's the best for weeding, but also good for planting seeds.

This is the handiest hand hoe, very sharp with two very usable pointed ends and a sharp blade. Makes weeding lightning fast. Wouldn't know how to get my weeding done without it now.

Wow, what an AWESOME little gardening tool! My order arrived in only FOUR DAYS. My boys were fighting over the tool while helping me weed the strawberries. It is super sharp and pointed on both sides. It is a wonderful tool, I highly recommend it. I'll be ordering another for me and one for my Mom too!

I used this for the first time this past weekend and it is a great tool. It made the hoeing around our onions very quick and easy. I highly recommend it.

Death to Weeds

I'm starting a new garden for a friend and, as soon as I chopped out the lawn and started the beds, I had weeds. I ordered this tool and I barely have to scrape it across the surface and the weeds are gone. I can do large areas in a very short time because I hardly ever have to pull a weed.
It seems a little light to use on big stuff like St. Augustine grass but I just took out a square yard of grass in only a few minutes. It's so sharp that it cuts the feeder roots off the main stems.
And it's wonderful for cleaning out the grass growing in the cracks in the driveway and sidewalk.
And the customer service is fantastic.

this tool makes weeding fast.
the blade is sharp, so even can get the larger stems.
lightweight and well balanced, it is a pleasure to use on the farm.

By far my most used and most loved garden tool!!! I have about 1/4 acre in California use it every week to maintain a carefree garden. The sharp point makes digging generous holes for bedding plants and bulbs a snap. Its also great for getting at the tap roots of individual dandelions, gutting the weeds that grow in sidewalk cracks, and picking out buried stones. The sharp blade makes a great small scale hoe, plant divider, root separator, clod buster, supplement mixer, tamper, and well maker. So many uses yet lightweight and comfortable. Recommend for every gardener.
