Excellent tool!

I purchased this fork as a Christmas present for my husband for use in our raised vegetable beds. Haven't had a chance to use it yet since it's mid winter but it looks like it will be just the ticket! VERY well made, feels good in the hands, appears to be very strong. We plan to use it for turning in amendments as well as digging garlic, onions, carrots, etc. Looks to be very user friendly and maneuverable in a tight space such as a raised bed. A real working tool, not just a sized down child's version! Thanks!

EXCEPTIONAL quality, design and durability. Well considered ergonomics. Perfect for transplanting cacti and other plants requiring careful uprooting. Beautifully made and a genuine pleasure to use.

Choosing the right fork

I've had several forks, and the best were carbon steel, vintage (maybe '40s and '50s) with great 'D' handles. They tackled our tough clay and for the most part the tines wouldn't yield. I especially loved them for removing thick English Ivy. When I received this new fork I got to work right away with all of my tough work I'd put on hold. Ivy, compost beds, soil amending, you name it. It's a real champ. I also love the small, but extremely useful perennial fork. You'll dream of ways to use that. In both cases the quality and workmanship are great. And I really did put it through its paces already. If I'm going to ship it back because of issues, I wanted to do it right away.
