Product Description

Now available with steps.

The DeWit Spork is the ultimate garden tool for digging, planting or edging. A Spork is light and strong with all the best attributes of a spade and a fork. The sharp jagged edge on the Spork cuts through small roots, as well as, the soil or lawn. The long T-handle makes this Spork easy to use as it is light and comfortable. The head is hand-forged from boron steel with a burnished finish. You’re going to love this garden tool.

(DeWit makes two Spork models - one that has a welded head and one that is forged from a single chunk of metal...we carry the much stonger forged model)

Handmade in Holland and Guaranteed a Lifetime!

This garden Spork is hand-forged from a single piece of hardened boron steel and fitted with an Ash hardwood handle from FSC Certified forests.

  2. A spade, a fork, and more.

I've been upgrading my tools ever since I discovered the amazing Garden Tool Company. And my prior fork and spade were to put it mildly, junk! I purchased the Spork, and honestly, it does both jobs and more. Super sharp points go through soil (and roots, a third job) like butter, and aerates perfectly. And since it isn't as wide open as a garden fork, it can trans locate enough soil that for many jobs a spade is not needed. Awesome Dewitt quality. Highly recommended.

  3. Going to absolutely love my spork!

  4. Useful, Versitiile and Durable

An excellent product that cuts and turns soil much easier, even soil with high clay content. The spork makes my work much easier.

  5. Great First Impressions

Posted by Sharon on 10th Oct 2012

I ordered the spork a few weeks ago, and have since used it to very easily divide the tough roots of Siberian iris clumps, to make holes for new plantings here in rocky CT, and to move plants around in Maine in a friend's garden. She was wearing crocs, and remarked that she can never dig in her soil that easily - not needing to wear boots. Very impressed.

  6. Better than my English garden fork

I have both the large spork and the mini-spork. I took out a long, woody rosemary bed with this and it was a breeze. And it went so quickly. And it doesn't compress the soil like a spade would. Well worth the price.

  7. Handy hybrid

The design is successful. It does the work of both spade and fork, with the additional benefits of being able to chop smaller roots and cut through thick stemmed weeds. The steel is much thicker than spade steel, but it's still light enough to use easily. The teeth come with a usable edge and the handle is comfortable. On top of all that, it's pretty. I'll be admiring it and enjoying its utility for many, many years.
