  1. Better than my English garden fork

Posted by Monica Kaufmann on 26th Mar 2012

I have both the large spork and the mini-spork. I took out a long, woody rosemary bed with this and it was a breeze. And it went so quickly. And it doesn't compress the soil like a spade would. Well worth the price.

  2. Handy hybrid

The design is successful. It does the work of both spade and fork, with the additional benefits of being able to chop smaller roots and cut through thick stemmed weeds. The steel is much thicker than spade steel, but it's still light enough to use easily. The teeth come with a usable edge and the handle is comfortable. On top of all that, it's pretty. I'll be admiring it and enjoying its utility for many, many years.
