Product Description

As seen in Better Homes and Gardens
New for 2012 from DeWit is this very unique Tulip Trowel. It may look pretty, but it’s made to work as hard as you. If you’ve got hard soil, you’ll appreciate the way the three sharpened points are able to slice into the dirt...even cutting through the stray roots that would stop a typical trowel. This Tulip Trowel is great for planting and transplanting your smaller plants and if you’re into potting, you’ll love the deep dished blade for scooping soil. This Tulip trowel’s blade and tang are handmade from durable Swedish boron steel and are then fitted with a Ash hardwood handle from FSC Certified forests.
Tulip Trowel Dimensions:
Length:  12 inches
Blade: 5 x 3 inches
Approx. Weight:  8 oz.

DeWit Tools has been producing hand forged Dutch garden tools in the north of Holland since 1898. Every DeWit tool grew out of a need to solve a gardening problem and today, 3rd and 4th generations run the DeWit factory.

  1. Finest small garden tool ever

Posted by Unknown on 7th Mar 2012

being an elderly but passionate gardener and living with clay I spend a lot of time digging close to the ground. My new tulip trowel makes it so very much easier - those sharp points practically slide into packed soil without losing their edge and not a great deal of effort on my part. I recommend it to anyone - young or old.

  2. Inspired design

It's gorgeous, of course, and it bites right into any soil. Those teeth take a good edge and keep it.
