Little too heavy for old hands

It's a beautiful tool and the younger friend I passed it to loves it. Sadly, it's just too heavy for me.

A very sturdy and comfortable tool

We received this tool just in time to amend and cultivate approximately 40 pumpkin hills. On first impression the tool was comfortable and sturdy in the hand. The tines are sort of an odd shape and seemed a bit blunt. Within minutes of cultivating the soil, the tines had sharpened themselves and it became apparent the shape of the tines formed little plows in the soil. For this reason I think it's my favorite hand cultivator for working in soil amendments. Very gentle on the roots, but tilled the soil great regardless of heavy clay and rocks. I haven't tried it on weed removal yet, but I'm pretty partial to the hori-hori stab and grab.Long story short: a great tool at exactly the right price point in my opinion.
