The size, shape and sharpness make this a very handy tool for transplanting or separating perennials in the border or raised bed.
This is my “go-to” tool for dividing perennials or reducing the size of clumps when a large spade would be unnecessary or unwieldy.
I bought this tool for an anniversary gift. I received a personalized email from the owners. They even threw in a coozie to keep my beverage cold. Well done.
Nice tool! Made to last like all tools used to. I just can't got over the charge. I used this tool for a prototype and have made three more just like it for under fifty buck in all.
Shovel to split perennial cut work time easily in half compared to any other shovels I have...made a hard job for a 76 year old possible.
I really like the function of the tool. Unfortunately, I experienced one of the side of the steel bending while transplanting a ground-cover. Not sure why it happened because I never had this issue with Sneeboer tools and I have many of them. Anyway, Anne was very responsive and shipped a new unit promptly. I am very thankful for that and I will continue to buy with confidence.
