Great Tool

No one enjoys forcing weeds to let go but this tool makes the job a good deal easier. My flower beds become infested with fescue grass from the fields nearby and this tool is a wonder at bringing the clumps out.

not as sturdy as one could want

I like a hand fork for weeding our very weedy and gravelly soil. Previously I had purchased a deWitt hand fork from Garden Tool Company. Unfortunately I lost that one out in my huge garden somewhere, so I replaced it with the round tine hand fork. The round tine one slides easily into the soil, but not even several months into this season’s gardening, one of the tines bent from just the usual weeding. Must have come across a rock down under. Fortunately I found my deWitt fork in one of the garden beds, left in the ground all winter. The wood handle is grayer but the metal and wood are still in great shape. Wish you still carried the deWitt handfork.
