Great for Slicing, Light Pruning

I use this to prune spent raspberry canes and to harvest cabbage. As with all my hand tools, I wrapped its handle with neon orange tape so I don't lose it in the fertile jungle that is my western Washington garden.

cleaned up agave plant

Had a hard time removing both dead and live fronds of agave after a freeze and used the Japanese sickle--it was a snap. Have sent one of them to my daughter who is cleaning up an out of control garden. Great on all grasses.

Alfalfa Saw

I bought this item to cut clumps of alfalfa for my hogs. Initially I was using a pocket knife and it wasn't working very well. Got this saw and its a breeze to wack through a bunched cluster of green stems.
