I can turn the compost myself now.

I love this. I cannot turn my compost with a pitch fork due to back problems. I saw a few video reviews, but they were turning a trash can full of perfectly shredded leaves. Sure that looks easy. But my compost pile has many perennial stems that mat together. I don't have a chipper/shredder. When I tried to turn it the first time, I cranked it all the way to the bottom of the pile. Of course that meant I was trying to lift the entire pile in one go as it was all matted together. So I backed the crank out until it was only penetrating the pile by a foot or less and stirred the top layer of the pile. Then went a bit deeper and loosened it more. Then went to the bottom. Sounds tedious, but it only took a few minutes to turn the whole pile. I turn my compost every day now, then water it. It is rotting down so much faster. Some people might look at this and think it's silly since they can turn their pile with a pitchfork. But for those of us that can't do that, this is a great tool. Thank you so much. I'm glad I tried it.

Outstanding - Compost Crank

This compost crank is great. Used to used hand tools to help mix up the compost in my rotating compost bin. This tool is fast and absolute. Time saver and it really improves the compost. It also speeds up the process.

Compost Cranks are the greatest thing since sliced bread!

Some of my composting friends have compost cranks, so I decided to go to the source. I love it. It is amazing how easy it is to churn up my stationary compost pile--and uses a different muscle group than my compost tumbler!

Compost Crank does the job

I love the compost crank. The best tool created for compost aeration. It's easy to use and easy on the back. It's a very sturdy tool and very light weight. I recommend the Compost Crank to anyone who maintains a compost pile.
