Great size for flower beds and raised bed gardens.

I can’t wait until spring to put this spade to use. It is a work of art and wooden handle is sturdy and comfortable. I may have to buy a second one for my husband.
It's perfect! Great for small spaces.
The Sneeboer garden tools are first class equipment. They look good, feel nice and have an old world charm. I have purchased about six of these so far for my wife. We saw these being used by Monty Don on his garden shows. I thought if they were good enough for UK's top gardener, they would be for my wife too.
I recently planted my old border spade in the ground, at the edge of a shrub's root ball. Leaning back a bit - to see how hard this transplant job was going to be - the wooden shaft snapped off at the haft. I don't expect this will happen with the new Sneeboer spade, because it is so well attached. The D-handle is comfortable, and the spade itself slides through our clay/loam soil. I've used it for cleaning up border edges and it works well for that. Great garden spade!
Great tool, putting to good use this spring
