We asked the fine folks at Sneeboer if they could design us a garden spade that had a tapered end similar to the shovels that most of us grew up with. Like magic, Frank Sneeboer made us a prototype...we loved it, ordered a bunch and here it is...the Tapered Garden Spade.
This Sneeboer tapered garden spade with Luxe-handle is a great addition to your garden tool collection. The pointed blade makes for easier planting, digging and transplanting than a flatter nose spades.
**The Luxe handle is a special Ash hardwood handle that has been contoured to be smaller in diameter where you grasp the handle...perfect for ladies or smaller hands.
Handmade in Holland since 1913.
Each tool is handmade one at a time from hardened stainless steel and fitted with an ash hardwood handle from FSC certified forests.
